Members of the Private Directors Association focus their Board participation in four different areas, which form the Pillars of our Association. The first pillar is Private Middle Market Companies, which are family or individually owned companies whose stock is not publicly traded. The second pillar is ESOPs, which are companies that are owned by their employees through an Employee Stock Option Plan. The third pillar is start-ups, which are private companies in early stages of development.  These companies may be pre-revenue or limited revenue businesses. The fourth and final pillar are Private Equity Portfolio Companies, which are companies that are owned by general and limited partners, who have developed an investment fund or who have commitments for funding acquisitions.

"The Loyola Family Business Center, (FBC) is pleased to work with the Private Director's Association.   While we have long offered a blind prospectus search process to FBC member companies, access to PDA members has significantly improved the field of potential pool of board candidates for our members. PDA's large and growing pool of potential directors has become the go to resource for the Loyola FBC member's director search and placement.” Anne K. Smart, The Loyola Family Business Center

“The Private Directors Association is a great resource for those serving on boards and seeking to serve on boards. They have helped many of the families that I work with find great candidates for their boards!” Andrew Keyt, Keyt Consulting
