The Detroit Affiliate was formed in 2016 and has quickly grown to over 65 members to date. From September through June, the Affiliate holds monthly programs featuring esteemed panels that discuss timely topics related to private company board governance. The Affiliate also holds an annual social event each summer. Without the support of local Sponsors, the Chicago Affiliate would not be able to hold these programs that allow the Affiliate to provide members in Michigan, Northwest Ohio and Southwestern Ontario networking events connecting private, private equity, family and employee-owned businesses, CEOs, board members, and advisors to support owners in board formation issues, introduce/discuss governance best practices, and match qualified directors with owners.
