THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.
A board of directors is only as strong and effective as its members. While most board members have good intentions, many have little to no experience serving on a board. A Stanford study from 2015 revealed that 65% of boards didn’t feel their board was experienced. 48% didn’t believe that board members were engaged in their work. Sometimes board members unconsciously, and sometimes intentionally, sabotage the boards on which they serve. Either way, they ignore various pitfalls that can undermine their effectiveness.
What traits do excellent directors have? How can YOU be an effective director? Come learn from seasoned directors and leaders of private, public, and not-for-profit companies, as they explore the role a director plays and pertinent characteristics of an effective director.
THANK YOU TO OUR HOST!
