Mark S. Schostak
TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants
Mark is Executive Chairman of TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR), where he oversees the high level strategic decisions of the locally based family-owned restaurant group. He is also partner in Schostak Family Enterprises, which is made up of multiple family entities including Schostak Family Investments Co., Schostak Brothers & Co., Inc., a diversified commercial real-estate company; and Schostak-Fisher Group, a residential real estate developer.
TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants operates over 100 restaurants in Michigan including Applebee’s, Olga’s Kitchen, MOD Pizza and Del Taco with plans for growth for each of its brands. TSFR’s company, King Venture, Inc. (KVI), sold its 60 Burger King restaurants to GPS Hospitality in 2015.
Schostak is a member of the Board of Directors of Apple Supply Chain Co-Op, the purchasing agent for the Applebee’s and IHOP systems; the Michigan Restaurant Association (MRA); and Burns and Wilcox, a national insurance company. He also serves on the Applebee’s Franchise Marketing Council (FMC), the Beaumont Health System Finance Committee; and he is Vice Chair of the MRA Government Affairs and Political Action Committee. He serves on the Schostak Family Board Advisory Board which acts as the family board of directors and participates in the family’s significant philanthropic activities.
Mark is a 1984 graduate of the University of Michigan and alumni of Harvard Business School. Mark and his wife Lillian have four children.
Timber Ridge Homes
Jeff has 35 years in the land development, homebuilding, and sales and operations. He is currently managing partner of Timber Ridge Homes. Prior to Timber Ridge, he was with Pulte Homes, Inc. for 25 years, one of the largest publicly traded homebuilders. During his tenure, he was Central Region President in 2006 and Eastern Region President from 2003 through 2005. In 2005, as region president, Jeff oversaw operations that had annual revenue in excess of $6 billion and pre-tax profits of $1.1 billion. Jeff was responsible for twenty-five home-building divisions east of the Mississippi. As a region president, Jeff was responsible for capital allocation and utilization and approved all project feasibility studies. Jeff has managed all facets of home building, including land acquisition, zoning, entitlement approvals, construction, and marketing and sales. Jeff has supervised and operated multiple divisions and been successful at attracting talented personnel to oversee home building operations in multiple cities and regions. While working in the corporate office, Jeff was responsible for personnel recruiting and advancement and has developed an extensive network of professionals across the country. Prior to joining Pulte, Jeff began his professional career with Coopers & Lybrand.
Jeff is currently on the Board of Advisors for TEAM Schostak Family Enterprises.
Bill is a retired partner from Plante Moran. Bill joined the firm as a proofreader in 1971, and became a partner in 1981. He also served as Managing Partner of the Ann Arbor office, which he helped to launch in 1982. Bill was elected Managing Partner in 2000, and served in that role from 2001 – 2009. As Managing Partner, Bill led the firm’s growth expanding the firm's geographic footprint and broadening service capabilities.
During the period July 2009 through June 2017, Bill led Plante Moran’s Service Industry practice and coordinated the Firm’s International Practice. Bill has provided operational succession and strategic consulting to numerous professional firms in North America, Australia and New Zealand as well as served as a coach and mentor for partners at all levels in these firms. Bill co-authored the book, Succession Transition – A Roadmap for Seamless Transitions in Leadership and a guidebook, Guide to Staff Development.

Lizabeth is Principal with TransitionsTraining, LLC. She plays a key role in business development at the firm as well as working with clients in talent management, career counseling, and leadership development toward meeting strategic business goals.
Liz’s 30 years of professional experience began in the management consulting group of a CPA Firm, Plante Moran, working as a consulting psychologist on client’s personnel issues. In her counseling, training and front line management roles, Liz has impacted individuals and teams for the better in measurable terms. She worked with a global human resources consulting firm as a master trainer in performance management and leadership development with Fortune 500 clients.
Liz’s engaging personality and communication style make her a sought after speaker and partner in the arenas of talent engagement and development.
Liz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She has a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and is a Limited License Psychologist in the state of Michigan. Liz is also a Certified Personnel Consultant and licensed Employment Agent in the state of Michigan.
