Managing Director and President
Pardis Nasseri founded Palm Tree in 2010 as a consulting and advisory firm with the alacrity, decisiveness, and agility of private equity so that it would better understand and serve its private equity clients.
Throughout his career, Mr. Nasseri has been involved in over $30 billion of successful M&A transactions as both an investor and advisor to some of the most prestigious private equity firms. He began his M&A career by working in the Transaction Services practice of PwC, then as an investment banker with Jeffries. He went on to work as a principal investor at the Los Angeles private equity firm Platinum Equity where he developed his interest in transactions, transitions, and transformations of businesses in special or complex situations.
Since founding Palm Tree, Mr. Nasseri has grown the firm from an independent contractorship to a team of over 40 professionals with multiple service offerings and offices in Los Angeles and Chicago. Palm Tree has been engaged in over 140 transactions worldwide in a dozen industries.
In 2019, Mr. Nasseri was recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as being among the most influential private equity investors and advisors—a list of 44 trailblazing professionals who contribute to the local business community’s success.
Mr. Nasseri and his family live in Los Angeles and they actively support a number of local and international charities. Mr. Nasseri studied business economics and philosophy at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Hinesh Patel is a Partner at CNM. He leads and oversees the firm’s Accounting Transaction Service (ATS) practice. He brings a vast knowledge of US GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) reporting requirements to his role at CNM. Hinesh primarily focuses on technical accounting, IPO readiness, SEC reporting, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining CNM, Hinesh worked as a Senior Manager at Deloitte on both the assurance and advisory groups, with a primary focus in the technology, manufacturing, and entertainment industries for public and private companies. He has assisted many companies through the IPO process and advised on a range of accounting services including technical accounting, financial reporting, and new business process requirements.

Jason Beck is a Principal with Vicente Capital Partners, where he focuses on sourcing, executing, and monitoring investments in software, internet, technology, and healthcare businesses. His current board seats and board observer positions include Campus Explorer, MedBridge Healthcare, and iBwave Solutions.
Prior to joining Vicente Capital, Jason was responsible for sourcing new investments, performing due diligence, and working with senior management teams to structure and execute transactions at Shepherd Ventures. Prior to Shepherd Ventures, Jason worked in design engineering, project management, and technical marketing roles at Entropic Communications (Nasdaq:ENTR) where he was a key contributor to the development of the MoCA cable home networking standard (the de facto connected home networking standard in the U.S.) and was responsible for the design and development of the c.Link home networking chipset that is currently deployed in Verizon’s FiOS service.
Earlier in his career, Jason founded and ran a business that provided design services and developed intellectual property used in a variety of integrated circuit and chipset applications, and he also worked in design engineering and management roles at ViaSat, Broadband Innovations, Logic Innovations, and Tiernan Communications. Jason is the holder of multiple U.S. Patents related to Channel Response Calculations in OFDM Receivers and he also holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College with distinction, and an M.B.A. with high distinction as a Carter Fellow and a Venture Fellow from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA.
As a principal at Polsinelli, my practice focuses on approaching each client matter with a practical application that is tailored to each client’s unique strategy, positioning and objectives. As a former Big 4 financial auditor and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), my understanding of the financial intricacies of a client’s business and the industry in which they operate provides me with the knowledge to deliver innovative solutions to complex problems. While working closely together with each client to address corporate matters and complex transactions throughout the life cycle of their business, my commitment to closing the deal is only rivaled by my sincere interest in helping each client overcome challenges and execute on opportunities.
My practice has included a broad and varied representation of public and private companies in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, cross-border transactions, venture and growth capital corporate finance, corporate governance, joint ventures, state and federal securities reporting and other general corporate and securities matters.
In addition, I represent entrepreneurs and emerging companies in corporate formation, venture capital financings and incentive equity matters.
