Elias Manousos is a security technology expert and experienced executive with over 20 years of delivering enterprise security solutions. Prior to co-founding RiskIQ, Elias was VP of R&D at Securant Technologies (acquired by RSA), an Internet leader in authorization and single sign-on (SSO). At Securant, he was instrumental in pioneering the now commonplace technologies providing increased browser security.
Elias bootstrapped RiskIQ from zero to 100 employees and more than 100 customers in just 5 years. After more than four decades serving corporations as Chief Security Officer (CSO) and in other senior security roles, I have transitioned my career to focus on consulting, publishing, and public speaking to assist in improving enterprise security risk management globally. Most recently, I was CSO and Director of Information Risk and Enterprise Security for Caterpillar Inc., where I spearheaded numerous risk management strategies including crisis management and growth of cyber and physical global security for the enterprise. Formerly, I served in similar positions with Nortel Networks, Boise Cascade Corporation; and Procter & Gamble Corporation
My emphases today are on building Board-level and C-suite knowledge and awareness of enterprise security risk management, helping organizations to develop well-executed security strategy, expanding the expertise and business-savvy qualifications of security practitioners and better preparing the next generation of security professionals to meet the needs of organizations in a volatile global economy.

Jeff Sauntry, senior risk executive, built his career stepping up to digital transformation challenges. He is CEO and Founder of Risk Neutral, a leading provider of integrated risk management (IRM) services. Jeff has extensive experience in professional services, technology, risk, enterprise software and cybersecurity. In 2015, Jeff co-founded Invision Communications, a physical security solution provider specializing in access control, video surveillance, industrial control systems, IoT, network connectivity, and cybersecurity. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board. In 2008, he co-founded New Market Partners – dba Applied G2, a cybersecurity, risk management, data privacy, and digital payment compliance consulting firm. Jeff served as Chief Risk Officer (CRO), and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) as well as Vice Chairman of the Board. Previously, Jeff held executive leadership positions with multiple Global 1000 firms, including Synopsys, Cigital, AT&T, Unisys, CA Technologies, Novell, PWC, and KPMG. Earlier this year, he completed the Chief Risk Officer program at Carnegie Mellon University.
Chair of IP, Cybersecurity & Emerging Technology Group
Claudia Rast is a shareholder in Butzel Long's Ann Arbor office, where she chairs the firm’s IP, Cybersecurity and Emerging Technology Group. Her areas of practice focus on domestic and international privacy and data protection, cross-border data transfers, the integrity of critical infrastructure, data breach response, cybersecurity standards addressing autonomous and connected vehicles, and technology licensing and protection. Rast’s privacy and data protection practice reaches back over 25 years, and she recently concluded a “mega” breach response, defined by the Ponemon Group as one involving over 1 million affected individuals. In addition to her legal practice, she is a frequent author on issues of data privacy and security. Recently appointed to co-Chair the ABA Cybersecurity Legal Task Force, she is also a chapter co-author of the ABA’s Cybersecurity Handbook (2nd ed.), and her current project is as a co-author of a book entitled Cyber Incident Response Handbook due to be published by the ABA in 2021. Rast received her B.S. from the University of Michigan, majoring in Natural Resources, and her J.D. from University of Detroit School of Law, where she was the editor-in-chief of the law review and later clerked for the Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court, G. Mennen “Soapy” Williams.

Dave Tyson is the President of Apollo Information Systems. Apollo provides its enterprise clients with consulting and technology services including security strategy, assessment, security road-mapping, and operational technologies to ensure the protection of their brand and information assets, aligned with enablement of their business. Tyson served as the Chief Information Security Officer of SC Johnson, a private consumer products leader, and Pacific Gas and Electric, the largest power utility in the United States, as well as Senior Director of Security for eBay, and Chief Security Officer for Vancouver, Host City of the 2010 Olympics. Dave currently serves on the Boards of Apollo and the Global Security Risk Management Association, Tyson is the past Chairman of the Board and 2015 President of ASIS International, the world’s largest security management association.
