Katharine Halpin
Founder & CEO
The Halpin Companies, Inc.

Katharine Halpin left her CPA career in 1995 to focus on the people aspects of business transitions and transactions.  She was frustrated by leaders' sole focus on the legal and financial aspects of corporate growth.  Katharine set out to prove that focusing in small ways on the people would reap a tremendous ROI.  Since 1995, her closely-held clients have realized organic corporate growth of 2-3x by using her methods.  She helps leaders create work environments where people step up and speak up because they feel encouraged, empowered and engaged.   Much of this corporate growth has come from new innovations created by existing employees after the poor and questionable performers have self-selected out.  These people tend to leave quickly with their dignity intact and without any crucial conversations or performance improvement plans.
