Dr. Christopher Colbert
Assistant Program Director of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program

Christopher Markus Colbert is the Assistant Program Director of the emergency medicine residency program at the University of Illinois at Chicago with specific interest in both academic and social emergency medicine. Additionally, he is the chair of continuing medical education for the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians (ACOEP), the co-chair of Illinois College of Emergency Physicians (ICEP) spring symposiums and a lieutenant colonel in the United States Army reserves. Chris has provided and moderated lectures nationally and internationally receiving awards for both speaker engagement and contribution to medical education. Dr. Colbert received his undergraduate degree from Hampton University, medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and is a graduate of the Midwestern University Emergency Medicine Residency Program.

Marisol is an Independent Board Director for Bush Brothers & Company, the leading bean company in the U.S., where she also serves on the Nominating/Governance and Compensation Committees. She is also on the board of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), Atlanta Chapter, where she is actively engaged in strategy and programming. In addition, Marisol consults with CEOs and other C-Suite leaders across a broad range of companies and industries, also serving on Advisory Boards for a number of those companies. She is also a member of the Private Directors Association (PDA), Atlanta Chapter.

Marisol recently retired from a 22-year career at the Coca-Cola Company, where she held executive marketing and leadership roles in various geographies across the globe. Previous experience includes Procter & Gamble and Macy’s.

Marisol holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgia State University and an M.B.A. from Mercer University in Georgia.



Mika Ann Stambaugh

Mika is an Emmy award winning journalist and dynamic entrepreneur known for her creative strategies in executing media and communication campaigns. Throughout her career, she’s been recognized for her creativity, hustle and leadership, including winning an Emmy in 2008 as a Field Producer at CBS 2 News Chicago.

That same year she moonlighted to follow her dream at age 26 to open her own small business, deftly balancing her responsibilities in the newsroom and as an entrepreneur. Her business savvy and deep understanding of the news business landed her the role of spokesperson for the City of Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection in 2014.

Mika combines her newsroom experience and execution of communication strategies for front line public policy issues to help our clients build winning earned media, marketing and advertising campaigns. Her high energy, positive attitude and passion for this work have helped her lead winning teams, and she carries that passion into her civic engagement as well where she serves on the Board of Directors for the YWCA Metropolitan Chicago and Susan G. Komen to raise funds and awareness that benefit the sick and less fortunate in Chicago. She lives in Hyde Park.
