Overview

As we celebrate reaching 80 Chapter Members in December of 2020, Charlotte Chapter Members are invited to share in some laughter and offer a warm greeting to our newest Chapter Members at this virtual, winter Wine Tasting. Wine Experts from The String Bean in Belmont will guide the tasting of three wines that they have selected.

Locally grown since 2008, The String Bean serves as a local fresh market (butcher shop, fresh seafood, local cheeses, 900 wines and over 200 beers), a local, casual  restaurant with an awesome patio, and a high quality, custom caterer. Winner of seven Wine Spectator Awards for Excellence, enjoyed by the President of the United States at a local appearance, and frequented by patrons we call friends, both local and from out of town, The String Bean is one of those places that we hope sticks with you and brings you back time and time again. 

This event, including the basic wine package of three half-bottles (Prosecco, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir), has been substantially underwritten by GreerWalker, our Bronze Chapter Sponsor. Thanks to this generosity, there is no registration fee, and the wine can be picked up for free from one of two locations: Belmont or South Park. During registration, there is also an option to include delivery, as well as a charcuterie plate and other extras, for an additional charge.
