Overview

The Dallas Chapter of the Private Directors Association is pleased to kick off 2022 with the first in a series on Enterprise Risk Management challenges for today’s boardroom. Our first ERM topic is supply chain. Bets Lillo, Executive in Residence and Adjunct Professor of global supply chain at TCU’s Neeley School of Business will host a fireside chat with Kelly Anderson. Kelly is the CEO of CXO Executive Solutions, providing interim executive services, advisory services, a private equity operating partner solution and executive search. Kelly is an experienced board director across a range of industries and a former CFO, bringing a wealth of perspectives on the critical importance of integrating supply chain into the board’s agenda.

Kelly Anderson

Kelly the founder and CEO of CXO Executive Solutions, LLC, and an experienced strategic Board Member and Retired Chief Financial Officer. With over 30 years experience in the accounting/finance arena, Kelly has demonstrated strong organizational achievements in a diverse group of industries.

During her CFO career, she was a strategic member of the executive team.
She takes responsibility for reporting performance, trends and business issues that affect the execution of company goals. These roles require working closely with the CEO, the Board of Directors and senior management to present and communicate company-wide achievements and provide ideas on how to seize new opportunities and mitigate shortfalls. Her experience includes notable companies: Fisker Automotive, First American Title and T3 Motion, Inc.
She has executed successful initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, mergers and acquisitions, creating value for investors and liquidity for ownership and management.

Kelly currently serves on the boards of Tomi Environmental Services (NASDAQ: TOMZ), Concierge Technologies (OCTQB: CNCG), California State University, Fullerton - Accounting Advisory Committee, Association for Corporate Growth, and Woman Corporate Directors, and previously served on multiple boards.

She is a graduate of California State University-Fullerton, Mihaylo College of Business and Economics

Bets joined the top-rated faculty at TCU’s Neeley Business School in the fall of 2021 as an Executive in Residence and Adjunct Professor teaching global supply chain at the graduate level. With a stellar Fortune 100 career leading global teams at AbbVie, Abbott Laboratories, AT&T and IBM, Bets lived and worked internationally, delivering award-winning results across roles in strategy, technology, M&A, finance and supply chain.

Bets has advised over 50 private companies on governance matters and was a leader during the meteoric growth of the Private Directors Association, as the National Chair, Board Opportunities Committee and Member, Technology Governance Council. She extends her coaching skills to the technology sector, advising CEOS of start-up and privately held firms across B2B software and services companies. Complementing her corporate governance, Bets has served on the Advisory Board for Purdue University’s School of Biomedical Engineering for over a decade and been active in non-profit board and committee service.

Bets earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BS in Engineering, summa cum laude from Purdue University. She holds a technology patent and five publications in IBM’s Technical Disclosure Bulletin.
