Overview

While a board member may be chosen for his or her particular skills, expertise and background, being an effective board member requires learning, understanding and navigating among the different perspectives and interests of Company owners and other board members. This is particularly the case when a Company is going through dramatic changes such as acquisitions, management succession, financial difficulties, or a sale. The objective of this program is to tap into the expertise of experienced private company directors and learn what they wish they had known starting out as a new director and what they have learned through experience on private company boards
