Overview

Last year, the SEC approved a new Nasdaq board diversity rule that required companies to have at least 2 diverse directors, including a woman on boards of companies it helps to take public after July 1st, 2021. Many companies have leveraged the role of the Chief Diversity Officer to help support the board diversity efforts by helping to identify that talent, but why not consider CDOs for Boards? Since 2020, there have been more Chief Diversity Officer roles than ever before, and the roles and responsibilities of the CDOS have expanded to focus on key talent strategies such as future of work, the great resignation and equity, and culture integration. Issues that every company is faced with now. We will discuss the value of a CDO and its contribution to a Board, especially in this climate.

Panel discussion from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Pacific) to be followed by informal networking breakouts 6 - 6:30 pm.

Thank you to our National and Gold Chapter Sponsors!
