Overview

What is the board’s perspective in asking the right questions around cybersecurity topics?

Does your board have a 360-degree view of all of the potential risks and exposure areas that exist for the company?

If your approach is primarily about compliance, the answer is a resounding, “No.” Even the US Navy is revisiting their approach recognizing that view is too myopic to appreciate the potential risks and exposure areas that can exist.

The Nashville Chapter of PDA and local sponsor, KraftCPAs, are excited to have Andy Flatt, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for National HealthCare Corporation, and Mary-Michael Horowitz, Founder and CEO of Asylas, as the speakers for this program.

Their fireside chat will delve into:

  • Cyber insurance – Do you have it? Are you jeopardizing your ability to get insurance in the future?
  • Compliance – A great risk score still might not mean you have the best protection.
  • Ransomware – Does your board have a plan in place for restoration and business continuity?
  • Finance – How much of the total IT budget should be planning for proper cybersecurity protection?

You’ll leave with the information you can use immediately to take action in ensuring your board is more aware and better prepared to, not only, mitigate risk to the company and the board, but also mitigate the potential for events and be ready to respond in the event an incident occurs.
