Lauren Evans

An expert in environmental regulations, remediation, and sustainability, Lauren founded Pinyon Environmental in her garage in 1993.  Since then, she has grown her business to $14M in annual revenues, 80 employees, and has completed over 20,000 projects for 1,450 clients across the U.S.  One of the thing’s Lauren is most proud of is the culture of transparency and engagement that has resulted from her years implementing open book management.  Her succession plan incorporates both ESOP and executive ownership.  Lauren is on the board of Degenkolb Engineers and the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, is an Advisor to the board of Helix Environmental, and is a past president of The American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado. She holds a BS in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. 

Gabe Disbrow

Gabe has been with Leevers Supermarkets for four years and the company has been an ESOP for ten.  He understands the family’s impetus for this structure and has worked to build employee ownership into the culture and as a differentiator in recruiting talent.  In 2021, Gabe led Leevers as it doubled in size through acquisition. He will speak to the pros and cons of being an ESOP through that expansion. Gabe was appointed by Gov. Polis to the Colorado Food Systems Advisory Council (COFSAC).  Previously, he held leadership roles at Aldi and Target in grocery and retail.  Gabe is a U.S. Army veteran and has previously held leadership roles at Aldi and Target in grocery and retail.  He earned an MBA from the Michigan State University, and holds a BS in Business from the University of Maryland Global Campus.

Gretchen Rosenberg

She participated in the founding of the Kentwood Cherry Creek office as an agent and was the Managing Broker of the Cherry Creek office for 11 years. When the founder and her mentor sold the firm to become Colorado’s exclusive affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway’s HomeServices of America, she became Kentwood’s president.  Since then, Gretchen has grown the company into a top luxury broker serving communities throughout the northern Front Range from metropolitan Denver to Fort Collins. Gretchen was honored with HousingWire’s national 2020 Vanguard Award and the Titan 100 Colorado’s Top C-Suite award.  Gretchen served on the Board of Directors at the National Association of Realtors® and the Colorado Association of Realtors®. She currently serves on the Boards of Directors at HomeAid Colorado, the Kentwood Cares Foundation and the HomeServices Foundation for Housing Equity. Prior to Kentwood, Gretchen worked in advertising and taught business and creative writing  at the Community College of Denver. She holds both an MBA and a BS in Public Affairs & International Studies from the University of Denver.
