Overview

The Association for Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) 2022 Report to the Nations reveals occupational fraud accounts for 5% of revenue losses annually. For private companies, incidents' volume and financial impact are nearly double their public company contemporaries. The median loss per incident exceeds $500K when the perpetrator is an executive or board member.

This virtual event will have two distinct components. The first will explore highlights from the 2022 Report to the Nations relevant to all board members. We will identify opportunities to improve corporate governance, culture, and reporting mechanisms required to address fraud risks effectively. The balance of the program will be an open Q&A with the report's key contributor and local Certified Fraud Examiners (CFEs).
