Dr. Ryan Lahti is the Founder and Managing Principal of OrgLeader. As a strategic advisor to STEM organizations, Ryan specializes in helping leaders thrive in uncertainty and better manage risk.

Ryan combines business experience serving Fortune 500 and midsize companies in 20 industries with a background in leadership and organizational effectiveness spanning three decades. Prior to founding OrgLeader in 2006, he worked for global consulting firms including Ernst & Young and Hay Group. He also held corporate positions overseeing leadership and organizational development.

As a thought leader, Ryan is the author of The Finesse Factor: How to Build Exceptional Leaders in STEM Organizations. He is a frequent speaker on uncertainty and risk as well as a contributor to Forbes on leadership and organizational effectiveness topics. Ryan has been featured on NBC TV, Inside Forbes Councils and in publications such as Fast Company and CIO.

He holds a B.A. in psychology/business administration from UCLA, an M.A. in industrial/organizational psychology from California State University Long Beach, and a Ph.D. in psychology/organizational science from the University of North Texas.

Becky Sharpe

Becky Sharpe’s passion is to help people grow.  She is currently the CEO and Owner of three businesses, International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Collegiate Sports Data and WatchGameFilm where her focus is on effective leadership and innovation through the lens of continuous growth. Becky takes a vision and makes it reality through strategically building effective organizations. She is a founding member of the Nashville chapter of PDA and on the national sponsorship committee.

Becky joined International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. (ISTS) as co-owner and President in 2002. She led the business to grow organically and became the sole owner of the organization in 2008, transitioning the company to 100% women-owned and gaining certification by WBENC for both ISTS and Collegiate Sports Data. She led the shift in innovation to new business models and continued growth fueled by the acquisition of a division of Educational Testing Service in 2013.

Concurrently, as the CEO of Collegiate Sports Data (CSD), an NCAA-approved scouting service that evaluates and endorses high school athletes for college level football recruitment, she led the transition of the organization from 100% paper-based to 100% online in 12 months. She developed and managed partnerships with industry leaders to streamline data capture processes and continued to focus on her passion of helping people grow. The services provided by CSD have allowed countless student athletes to continue their education at a post-secondary level.

Becky’s continual focus on company culture and living the organizational values has led to recognition both locally and nationally. ISTS has been ranked one of Nashville’s Top Workplaces by the Tennessean, has been awarded the When Work Works award for exemplary workplace practices and has made Inc. magazine’s list of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America three times. In addition, Becky has twice been named as a recipient of the Nashville Business Journal’s Women of Influence Awards.

Becky holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in German and French from Vanderbilt University and an MBA in international marketing from Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. She serves on several Boards of Directors including Vistage International, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle TN, Girls Scouts of Middle TN, Sister Cities of Nashville, Nashville Sports Council, The Private Directors Association, Nashville Coaching Coalition and Walk Bike Nashville.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, cycling, gardening, and international travel. She is also currently pursuing her private helicopter pilot’s license. Becky is married to Michael and is the proud mother to three young adults to whom she regularly speaks in German. Her go-to karaoke song is Patsy Cline’s Walking After Midnight
