Kirk Roessler
Global Segment Director
DURA Automotive Systems

Kirk Roessler is currently the Segment Director for DURA Automotive Systems. In this role he supports the executive leadership team by leading new business acquisition and business unit strategy for DURA’s Control Systems, Electronics and Exteriors Divisions which represents two thirds of DURA’s annual sales.

Over Kirk’s 26 year career at Dura, he has developed a highly diverse background by serving in leadership roles in Product Development, Sales, Program Management, Operations and Business Unit Strategy.  In 2006, he moved to Shanghai, China to lead the startup/growth of DURA’s China business through a combination of joint ventures and wholly owned entities.  In 2012, he relocated to Dusseldorf, Germany to support the restructuring of DURA’s Exterior Division.  Since 2014, he has been located at DURA’s Corporate Headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI leading DURA’s Global Business Unit Strategy.

Kirk holds a BSME from GMI Engineering & Management Institute (now Kettering University) and earned his MBA from Oakland University.

 

Tim Emmitt
Partner and Senior Managing Director

Timothy J. Emmitt is a Partner and Senior Managing Director at Gantry Business Solutions.  He specializes in Performance Improvement and Turnaround & Restructuring.  Tim has over 30 years of advisory and corporate experience including a broad cross section of markets and industries.   He is able lead teams to rapidly identify and execute strategies to harvest meaningful improvements in companies. 

Tim has extensive experience in pricing in various settings, including OEM/retail, B2B, wholesale and online and in organizations ranging from the lower middle-market to Fortune 100.  He has a strong track record of systematically achieving double-digit price increases, driving multiples at the bottom line, quickly while retaining all meaningful business. 

Tim is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a BS with Honors in engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA in finance from The University of Chicago.

 

Carrie Uhl
Chief Procurement Officer
GE Healthcare

Carrie Uhl joined GE Healthcare in 2019 as Chief Procurement Officer, where she is responsible for setting the vision and strategy for the global sourcing process, ensuring consistent and effective approaches to supplier selection, strategic category management, total cost of ownership improvement, and supply chain risk mitigation.

Prior to joining GE Healthcare, Carrie was the VP of Procurement, Americas at Magna International, a global leader in mobility technology.  She also held purchasing positions at both Lear Corporation and Guardian Industries.

Carrie earned a B.S. in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University. She is on the advisory board for Wayne State University’s global supply chain program and serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Southeast Michigan. 

In 2015, she was named by Automotive News as one of the 100 Leading Women in the North American auto industry and was included in its 2016 class of Rising Stars for automakers and suppliers.

Kimberly Rodriguez 
Chief Executive Officer
Dura Automotive Systems LLC 

Automotive industry veteran, Kimberly Rodriguez joins Dura Automotive Systems as Chief Executive Officer and board member on September 1, 2020. Kimberly is a renowned expert in transforming global organizations to maximize efficiencies in supply chain, manufacturing and operational performance. During her 30-year career, she has assisted automakers and suppliers in driving value creation by leveraging the interface between finance, operational (plant floor) efficiency, and the effective use of technology.

Prior to joining Dura, Kimberly was Chief Executive Officer of Rush Trucking, a $100 million long-haul trucking company. During the 2020 COVID Automotive shutdown, she helped to dramatically improve efficiency, reduce equipment cost in half and quadruple the customer base for Rush.

Kimberly joined Rush from Detroit-based Huron Consulting Group, where she served as a senior consultant. She previously served as a principal of her own firm SCRM, providing independent consulting services, largely to equity funds and multiple holding family funds relating to sales growth, efficiency and market strategy.

From 2010-2015 Kimberly was principal at KPMG and from 2006-2010 she was partner at Grant Thornton, where she led creation of an industry-leading, proprietary financial and operational web-based analytical tool and its follow-on product to monitor extensive supply chains. The highly successful tool is now in use by Fortune 50 firms and over 10,000 of their suppliers. From 1999-2006, Kimberly was partner at Stout, Risius, Ross, Inc. She began her career in 1998 as founder of Michigan-based Concorde Management Group.

Kimberly sits on the Board of Directors for AMG Industries, LLC., and Romeo Rim, as well as on the Executive Committee and General Board for The Children’s Center, a Detroit-based non-profit. She is a founding member and the first female chair of the Private Director’s Association, which provides training and insight for existing and potential board members of privately held companies. In 2019 she was named “Director to Watch” by Directors & Boards Magazine.

Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Art in economics and accounting from Michigan State University and a Master’s in business administration from Walsh College.
