Kathy Acierno Baron

Kathy Acierno Baron is a Vice President with Pearl Meyer located in Boston office working in several industries including the financial services industry and non-profit organizations. 

Kathy has over 30 years of Human Resources & Talent Management experience working in high tech, manufacturing, higher education and consulting.She has varied consulting projects: ranging from organizational reviews, succession planning, leadership assessment, leadership development, organizational design, and coaching.  

Kathy joined Pearl Meyer in 2019; coming from Harvard University where she was Director, Workforce Planning & Talent Mobility and an executive coach in Harvard’s leadership programs.  She was responsible for aligning and leveraging talent acquisition to internal talent mobility – connecting external and internal talent pipelines.  Kathy also worked for 5 years as an internal Sr. Organization Development Consultant working with clients to align organization and talent strategy.  

Prior to joining Harvard in 2011, Kathy spent over 15 years at Avery Dennison Corporation, most recently as the Director of Leadership and Organizational Development.  During her tenure she designed and delivered succession management systems, employee retention strategies, leadership & team development programs, as well as high potential development programs.  

She has coached over 100 executive & senior leaders.  Kathy is certified to administer and interpret a multitude of assessment instruments for both individual and team development.

       

Laura Neiman

Laura Neiman -  President & CEO and Board Member of Neiman Brothers Company, Inc., joined her family's business upon completion of her BA in Economics and Managerial Finance from Brandeis University. Ms. Neiman represents the third generation of her family who is dedicated to growing and continuing the 100+ year old business that manufactures, processes and distributes a full line of ingredients. Ms. Neiman has been instrumental in developing and expanding the market sectors in which Neiman Brothers operates and she has cultivated new opportunities in the ever-changing food industry. Ms. Neiman is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), The Chicago Network, The Economic Club of Chicago and she sits on the Women’s Board of the UChicago Cancer Research Foundation as well as the Alumni Boards of Brandeis University and The Francis W. Bill Birck is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Reed Construction. Having joined the firm in 2000, he has over 20 years of experience in the industry and is the fifth generation heading the family-owned firm that was established in 1893. Bill enjoys acting as a mentor for team leaders and project management staff, and also engages in regular strategic planning initiatives to move the company forward. He is dedicated to maintaining strong working relationships with clients, ensuring that Reed’s renowned reputation for delivering quality construction solutions is upheld.

Ed Steinhoff is a managing director and consulting team leader at Pearl Meyer. In his management role, he oversees a team of senior compensation consultants in the execution of the firm’s growth strategy and in the development of consultants at various stages in their careers. With more than 25 years’ experience in executive compensation, Ed works with the boards of directors and senior management teams of public and private companies, ranging from small and middle-market firms to multibillion-dollar corporations, to design pay programs that drive business performance and value creation, secure high-performing executive talent, and meet both regulatory standards and stakeholder expectations. Ed leads client engagements across many industries, with a focus on insurance, banking, manufacturing, and construction and engineering organizations. Prior to joining Pearl Meyer, Ed led the Michigan market compensation business at Mercer. He also has corporate compensation experience with Amoco Corporation in Chicago. Ed received a bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Georgetown University and a master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. He speaks regularly on compensation issues and is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and WorldatWork.
