Overview

Most strategic plans fail to achieve all that leadership intended, and too often they are largely ignored soon after being announced. It doesn’t have to be that way! In this one-hour presentation, followed by Q&A interaction with our presenters, you will learn about:

  • Practical, proven methods for executives and board members to build a more impactful strategic plan
  • Best practices for ensuring organizational alignment and strong, continuous execution of the plan to realize the intended outcomes.

The best practices that will be shared originated from the presenting consultant’s prior strategy experience at Merck & Co. The practices were later adapted for smaller company application, then enhanced and validated through participation in Gartner/CEB’s Strategy Practice. The approach has been successfully implemented at two privately-held businesses that are leaders in their respective industries: Just Born Quality Confections (founded in 1923), and Vistacom (founded in 1954).

Vice President, Strategy Realization Office (SRO)
Just Born Quality Confections
