Born in South Carolina, Justin L. Jordan graduated from The Citadel in 1985 with a Bache lor of Science in Computer Science. Justin serves as President and Chief Op erating Officer for Essential Ingredients. Prior to joining Essential Ingre dients, Justin served in Director level roles in Human Resources at BellSou th responsible for HR functions and their Information Systems. He was certi fied as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society of H uman Resource Management and completed the Advanced HR Executive program fr om the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. During the fi rst five years of his career, he worked in software development at BellSout h and Management Science America. Justin serves on the board of directors f or his company and has also served as an independent director for Packard D istribution until it was sold in early 2021. Justin has been married to Eli zabeth Martin Jordan since 1989 and they have four children: Rebecca, Hanna h, Will and Sarah Kate. His hobbies include hiking, running, and reading. < /p>

Cindy Baerman is a Boar d Member and Seasoned P&L Leader with C-Suite experience. She currently serves as a board member at Epi Breads and FPL Food LLC. As CEO of Executi ve Advisory Services, she serves in an advisor to several CEO’s in the aren a’s Sales Force Effectiveness, Organization Design post-merger, CEO Success ion and Total Rewards Strategy in a High Growth Private Industries includin g Healthcare IT and a Large 39 Billion Dollar Public Transportation Company . Previously, Mrs. Baerman was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Graphic Packaging International from 2009 to 2013. Prior to this, she was the Vice President and General Manager of the Food and Beverage Division in North A merica for Diversey from 2005 to 2008; and the CHRO at Stericycle. Mrs. Bae rman received her B.S. in Management from Purdue University and her M.S. in Management from Maryville University. She also attended Board of Directors College at Stanford University.

Joe Astrachan is Professor Em eritus and past executive director of the Cox Family Enterprise Center at t he Coles College of Business, Kennesaw State University near Atlanta, Georg ia, USA. He is also an Affiliated Professor with the Centre for Family Entr epreneurship and Ownership Affiliated Professor at Jönköping International Business School (Sweden), Family Business Scholar with the Smith Family Bus iness Initiative at Cornell University, and a visiting scholar at Witten/He rdecke University (Germany).
Dr. Astrachan has received numerous awar ds for his research and service from family business, entrepreneurship, man agement, and research-oriented associations including awards form the Famil y Firm Institute, the International Family Enterprise Research Academy, and the Family Business Network International. In 2018 he was named one of the top 25 leading scholars in entrepreneurship in a Journal of Small Business Management article. He is author or coauthor of more than 25 book chapters, 65 scientific publications, and ten books. He is a frequent speaker on the topic having given more than 300 speeches around the globe. Dr. Astrachan is founder and former editor of the scientific publication the Journal of Family Business Strategy, and past and longest serving editor of Family Bus iness Review.
Dr. Astrachan has 40 years’ experience studying and working with family companies and has spoken in over 35 countr ies. He has served on a total of 19 boards of privately-owned family busine sses (currently serving on nine) globally (operations in USA, Africa, Europ e, Eastern Europe and Asia) in a variety of industries including: heavy equ ipment, automotive, high-tech (software and service), restaurants, building materials, food manufacturing, hospitality, retailing and distribution, co mmercial and multifamily real estate, and healthcare. Dr. Astrachan comes from a family business background (container and tanker shipping, coal mini ng and pharmaceuticals). Dr. Astrachan earned his B.A., M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees at Yale University.

Ty is an Operating Partner at Trive Capital. Trive Capital is a Dallas TX, based private equity firm t hat manages nearly $2B in aggregated capital commitments. Ty works closely with the CEO’s and leadership teams of various portfolio companies on value enhancement initiatives. Ty also works to identify and evaluate new deal o pportunities on behalf of Trive Capital.
From 2017 to 2020, Ty served as CEO and Director of Select Interior Concepts (SIC), a p ublicly traded leading provider of interior surface products for residentia l and commercial applications. As CEO, of the newly formed holding company, he combined two privately held business units and took the new platform pu blic within nine months of company formation. During his tenure, Ty preside d over significant growth of the company resulting in above market sales an d profitability levels.
Prior to joining SIC, Ty serv ed as CEO of Residential Design Services (RDS), a SIC subsidiary, since Dec ember 2015 where he drove organic growth initiatives including new product development and cross selling activities. Prior to joining RDS, Ty was Vice President & General Manager Consumer Products and in July 2015 was nam ed President, North America of OmniMax International, Inc, a roofing produc t manufacturing company. As President, Ty oversaw a $600M division where he was responsible for 30 plant locations and 1,000 employees. Prior to OmniM ax, he was Senior Vice President of Mannington Mills, Inc., a flooring prod uct manufacturing company and President, North America for the predecessor company Amtico International Inc., which was PE backed and purchased by Man nington. Ty spent several years in executive roles at Armstrong Flooring an d the early part of his career in roles of increasing responsibility at GE Capital.
Ty holds a Master of Business Administration degree from DeP aul University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Howard University. He serves on several non-profit boards including the Woodruff Arts Center and Leadership Council of Junior Achievements of Georgia.
