Our own Dr. Mary Key will interview Tony and explore his experiences as a CEO, building a board of directors, serving on boards and giving back to the community.

Founder and Chair
Think Big for Kids

Tony DiBenedetto is a technology executive, entrepreneur and philanthropist with more than 30 years of experience in business innovation and high-impact growth. He is the founder and chair of Think Big for Kids, a nonprofit organization that helps underprivileged youth discover their untapped potential through career exploration, mentorship, skills development and job readiness. The former CEO of technology company Tribridge, he currently serves as a board member for several companies, including A-LIGN, Appspace, CCG Analytics, Think Big for Kids, and MyArea Network.

Tony founded Think Big for Kids in 2016 with the mission to help deserving kids break out of the poverty cycle while fueling the economy with talent to fill high-demand positions in growing industries. Since exiting Tribridge in 2017, Tony has grown the initiative to a fully operational organization serving more than 2000 teens.

Tony co-founded Tribridge in 1998 and led the company through the acquisition and integration of several companies, resulting in a compounded annual revenue growth rate of over 40 percent each year. Under his guidance, Tribridge grew from a start-up to a $175 million company with over 850 team members across the U.S. and EMEA. He also served as CEO of Concerto Cloud Services, a subsidiary of Tribridge. In July 2017, Tony led the acquisition of Tribridge and Concerto by DXC Technology Company, (NYSE: DXC).

Tony was named the first Executive Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Tampa Bay Wave, where he mentors growth-stage companies. The recipient of numerous leadership awards, including the Ernst & Young Florida Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award in Technology and induction into the Florida State University College of Business Hall of Fame, he was also recognized with the Community Dedication and Leadership Award by Tampa Bay Tech and named among the Top 25 Technology Disrupters in the country by CRN.

Tony earned partnership at Arthur Andersen before founding Tribridge.

Tony is a long-time volunteer and supporter of Boys & Girls Clubs and is a member of the Tocqueville Society of United Way Suncoast. He co-founded the Tampa Bay Technology Forum, now Tampa Bay Tech, in 2000 and was the first executive director of the TBTF Foundation, helping at-risk kids pursue careers in STEM through educational programs and scholarships.

Tony is a frequent speaker for businesses, organizations, universities and special events on topics including business growth, corporate culture and diversity, entrepreneurship, skills gap, talent development, tech innovation and youth engagement. His work has been published in a variety of publications and academic, community and government forums. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management Information Systems from Florida State University.

Tony has lived in Tampa for more than 30 years.

Dr. Mary Key is an international consultant, author, speaker, and executive coach. She is President of Key Associates, Inc., an organizational transformation consulting firm committed to helping leaders and organizations grow, particularly women.

Key has worked with Fortune 500 companies, Inc. 500 winners and government entities. Among others, clients have included: Ericsson, CitiFinancial Retail Services, Nokia, Nissan, Infiniti, Baycare Health System, ACG, Baptist Health Care, Bausch & Lomb, Wyeth Nutrition, Jack Morton Worldwide, Mission Healthcare System, Stanford University, Tribridge, Vector Solutions, myMatrixx, Waymo, and many not for profit and government agencies and boards. She helped Inc. Magazine set up CEO Roundtables around the country. Tony DiBenedetto participated in one of Key’s roundtables for 7 years.

She is the founder of the Key Women’s Leadership Forums: http://keyassociatesinc.com/womens-forum/. The purpose of the women’s forum is to bring together executive women to focus on pressing issues, leveraging their influence, and aligning their careers with what is purposeful for them.

Key recently authored Seizing Success: A Woman’s Guide to Transformational Leadership and has written numerous blogs other books including CEO Road Rules: Right Focus, Right People, Right Execution and The Entrepreneurial Cat: 13 Ways to Transform Your Work Life. Key received her Ph.D. from the University of Virginia and her BS from the University of Massachusetts. She was selected to be part of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF), Leadership Florida, Athena Society, and the CEO Council of Tampa Bay. She is a founding member of the Private Directors’ Association, Tampa Bay and co-chairs the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee.
