Overview

PDA Chicago’s “Early Stage Committee” is presenting a virtual program on 4/19/22, titled: “Set Your Company Up for Success with Advisors, Mentors & Boards”. This is a joint collaboration with 1871, a large tech incubator in Chicago.

1871 is a leader in Chicago's technology and entrepreneurial ecosystem. 1871 incubates, supports, houses, collaborates with, and hosts co-working space to, over 450 early-stage companies. In addition, 1871 hosts events by nationally recognized tech talent schools, industry-specific incubators, and accelerators. 1871 is one of the top university-affiliated entrepreneurial programs in the United States.

The joint program between PDA and 1871 will introduce PDA to 1871’s Early Stage and Growth Stage companies. Our goal is to help founders and executives of 1871-member companies understand the benefit of mentors, advisors, and fiduciary board members, as well as the differences between them.

We hope to generate interest in PDA from 1871-member companies and to make known to 1871 that PDA  members are available as mentors, advisors, and board members. The collaboration could lead to mentorship and advisory opportunities for our PDA membership. To inquire about the mentorship program, please follow the link below.
