Efrat Kasznik
President
Foresight Valuation Group

 

Efrat Kasznik is President of Foresight Valuation Group, a Silicon-valley based IP valuation firm, and a Lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). Ms. Kasznik is an IP valuation and strategy expert with over 25 years of consulting experience, focused on assisting IP holders across industries with the valuation, commercialization, and monetization of their intangible assets. She helps clients, ranging in size from Fortune 100 companies to start-ups, with IP and business valuations in support of licensing deals, IP and technology acquisitions, M&A transactions, financial reporting, strategic planning, and fundraising. She frequently serves as a testifying expert in disputes involving IP and startup valuations and damages. Ms. Kasznik has been teaching at the Stanford GSB for over a decade, where she teaches an annual MBA class on IP management and valuation, as well as teaching in various GSB executive education programs.

Ms. Kasznik currently serves on the Board of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) USA-Canada, a global organization of IP and licensing professionals. She also serves as Chair of the LES Silicon Valley Chapter. Ms. Kasznik has been recognized as one of the World's top IP strategists by IAM 300 every year since 2013. Throughout her career, Ms. Kasznik has worked with hundreds of startups as a consultant, mentor, or advisory board member. She also held the positions of CFO at a telecom start-up and co-founder in a Cleantech startup. Ms. Kasznik is a frequent writer and speaker on topics related to IP and startup valuations and strategy.

   

Joy Goudie

Joy Goudie is an active member of PDA and an independent board member at Daxor Corporation. She is the founder of Goudie, PLLC following twelve-years as Senior Patent Counsel Vice President managing Revlon’s global R&D portfolio and research protection. Prior to Revlon she served as Patent Counsel at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. Joy is a published scientist and researcher who worked on new drug development before becoming a patent attorney. Her firm focuses on intellectual property portfolio management and protection of company intellectual property for future company growth.

   

David Andrews
Chief Data & Analytics Officer

David Andrews is a highly experienced patent attorney with a strong focus on intellectual property (IP) law. He currently serves as Aon IP Solutions' Chief Data and Analytics Officer. In his role, David focuses on applying data science to IP valuation and quality questions. In his previous role, he represented clients in high-stakes patent litigation and portfolio development. His expertise in machine learning and generative AI has been instrumental in reducing legal costs and accurately predicting patent case outcomes. David has a deep understanding of IP holdings’ quality and breadth. David has also leveraged machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) to predict the outcomes of patent cases at district court. By examining hundreds of years of human data recorded in patent examinations, litigation cases, and assignment records, Andrews has been able to identify valuable patents to inform legal decision-making

Lalit Panda is an Operations and Technology executive with leadership experience across 7 different industries at companies of all sizes that were Public, PE, and VC backed. As a Chief Operations Officer and a Chief Information/Digital Officer in global companies, he has led digital and operational transformations at scale. Companies where he had roles range from large public companies like Sony and Altria, to midsize firms like Harman, Denon, and Tronox, etc. Plus, he has also been involved in late-stage startups. In designing and delivering products to market, he has spent time managing IP issues with startups in medical technology as well as established companies in consumer and industrial products.
