Founder & CEO, Censored Studios/PocketCows
Co-Chapter President, PDA South Florida

Cordearo Dadson is the Founder of Pocketcows. He is an investor, inventor, and consultant of blockchain technology since 2012 with a background in programming, Python, Java, and C++. He specializes in anti-scam projects and cyber security. Cordearo has worked with various blockchain companies and projects, including polka warriors non-profit and moon rabbit, a project bent on furthering the life span of homosapiens.

Cordearo is set on ushering in the unified standard of integrating enterprises into the blockchain through innovation. Such as being a custodian & incubating startups via in-house developed projects targeted towards utility that generates income for those who invest in and use blockchain technology. This entails the following responsibilities:

  • International transactions
  • Record keeping
  • Securing intellectual properties (patents/licensing)
  • Investing into other assets/investments (such as startups)
  • Being able to represent as a legal entity to be subjected to government regulations throughout various countries on behalf of his clients

Cordearo is set to create a project that will be completely transparent between peers during exchanges and provide security for all the users who will use it. The most valuable asset a user can have is trust. With influencers promoting projects & trade for their own gains, there’s no knowing who to trust. This is why Cordearo solely focuses on the development of trustless decentralized products that not even he as the creator can manipulate or alter with malicious intent for personal gain.

By creating a truly transparent platform with cutting-edge cyber security protocols you can rest assured by placing trust in the product instead of individuals. This is the true gem of blockchain technology and this is what Cordearo advocates by setting above all standards of utility.

Lack of reliable sources to follow:

  • Fear of losing on your investment
  • Low level of financial literacy
  • Lack of experience and education in the market

All of these issues become obsolete when using a truly decentralized platform.

By utilizing the Pocketcows platform these issues become a thing of the past; providing traders & influencers a place to be financially secure by giving them the right tools to monetize and seize the opportunity of active and passive Ethereum.

After standing up and leading the cybersecurity oversight function for an NYSE company for seven years, I have a passion for cybersecurity oversight and want to play a board role in closing the cybersecurity governance gap.

Boards certainly feel the need to become more engaged with cybersecurity governance, but, given the size, complexity, and chaotic nature of cyber risk-now amplified by AI-they often struggle to find a roadmap to engage and deliver effective oversight. Boards must become proactive to meet this challenge or face regulatory penalties and unknown and potentially major consequences of remaining reactive. There are no easy "check-the-box" solutions.

Effective cybersecurity governance starts with: 1) Organizing your enterprise to take the cybersecurity offensive; 2) Educating the Board and C-Suite to develop a sufficient enterprise-wide systems knowledge required to govern the interactions of your enterprise's assets and digital systems, and; 3) Developing an enterprise-wide cybersecurity culture. The implementation of these steps will go a long way to closing the governance and communications gap between Boards, the C-Suite and CISOs.

In addition to cybersecurity oversight, I am interested in Board positions which demand multi-functional oversight skills. I have served as the lead director of an NYSE company, and also led or been a member of the audit, compensation, nominating/governance, special planning and ad hoc M&A committees.

Beyond my Board work, my career has been dedicated to capital formation, M&A, financial restructurings, corporate development in an advisory role and as an entrepreneur and principal. I have started, built and grown companies through internal growth and acquisitions.

The foundation of my understanding of cyber risk is rooted in my experience serving in the US Navy where I supervised complex systems associated with shipboard nuclear reactor operations.

I am certified by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) in Cyber-Risk Oversight and certified as a Boardroom Certified Qualified Technical Expert ("QTE").
