Karen Hung
CEO & Founder
Silver Rock Consulting

Karen Hung is the CEO and Founder of Silver Rock Consulting. Silver Rock focuses on transformation and growth via co-creation of business models that serve as the foundation of strategy playbooks. Additionally, Silver Rock works with clients to elevate their Board impact for increased enterprise leverage. The results catalyze market momentum, and executive alignment.

Ms. Hung has corporate and client experience and agility across a range of sectors. Some of her clients include Ascension Healthcare, Kohler, MetLife, AbbVie, Johnson Controls, and Goodwill Industries. 

Prior to founding Silver Rock, Ms. Hung was the Senior Vice President, Global Chief Marketing Officer with Lands’ End. She has held C-Suite and other executive positions leading global teams with General Electric, Ann Taylor, and Citigroup in the areas of General Management, Strategy, Marketing, and Innovation.

Ms. Hung serves as a Board Director and on Audit and Compensation Committees with KeHE, a national B-Corp food distributor; Florence Eiseman Company, an upscale children’s apparel brand; and Ascension Wisconsin healthcare system as Board Secretary and on Governance Committee.

An active civic leader, Ms. Hung serves on the Boards of Directors of the Harvard Business School Club of Wisconsin as Immediate Past President, the Rotary Club of Milwaukee as Immediate Past President, Milwaukee Women Inc as Governance/Membership Engagement co-Chair, the National Christian Foundation, and the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee Foundation. She was also honored by being named Board Emeritus of Junior Achievement of Wisconsin (Executive and Strategy Committees) and Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (Governance Chair, Exec Comm) for her years of Board service.

Ms. Hung has been recognized and honored as Women of Influence, Notable Women on Boards, Women of Distinction, and Most Influential Asian American Leaders. 

Karen Hung earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA from Washington University of St. Louis.

 

             

Jim Stollberg
Co-CEO
Halftime Institute

Jim spent 30 years in business, holding leadership roles in the supply chain automation and management consulting industries. As EVP Global R&D at Dematic, he led their technology transformation, positioning them as a market leader in automation solutions for the world’s top e-commerce, retail, and manufacturing companies. In 2016, after the successful sale of the company to KION, a German public company, Jim assumed the role of EVP, Global Products and Solutions before stepping down in July of 2018.

He began his career in 1988 at Accenture (previously Andersen Consulting) where he led mission critical engagements for his manufacturing and supply chain clients, including Harley-Davidson, Miller Brewing, Johnson Controls and BF Goodrich. After leaving the firm in 1998, he spent one year as VP, Professional Services at EXE Technologies, a supply chain software company, before joining HK Systems, where he held a variety of leadership roles and assisted in the sale of HK Systems to Dematic in 2000. 

In 2018, Jim founded Gemini Global Advisors to assist his clients in achieving similar results to what he has delivered throughout his career. His clients include venture capital, private equity and supply chain technology companies. He has served in several board and advisory roles with privately held market leaders, including Shipmonk, Autostore and Covariant.ai. 

Jim currently serves as co-CEO of Halftime, a non-profit that helps high-capacity leaders get clear, get free and get going to live life on mission.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and continued his education at INSEAD, where he completed the
Global Executive Program. He serves on Marquette’s Supply Chain Advisory Board and volunteers for their Advanced Global Business Leadership program. He previously served on the Supply Chain Advisory board at Georgia Tech.

Jim and his wife, Leslie, have been married since 1991 and reside in Brookfield, Wisconsin. They have two adult children, Justin and Lauren, who live in Chicago and Denver, respectively.

Ms. Plautz brings a unique perspective and is an agile leader with multi-disciplinary experience in banking, working in specialty divisions including private equity, bond financing, global trade, ESOPs and commercial lending.

A systems thinker, Ms. Plautz can recognize opportunities for collaboration across organizational enterprises, disciplines and industries including financial services, insurance and public accounting.

Ms. Plautz graduated with an Executive MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2013. Her undergraduate studies from the same university included a triple major in Finance, International Business and French, and a minor in Business French.
