Overview

In concert with Tony Schweier, Mark Jahnke, Steve Mullinger and Pete Wright, we would like to invite you to an introductory meeting of the Private Directors Association (PDA) on April 23rd at the Queen City Club. Our team looks to initiate the formation of a chapter in Cincinnati. 

There is currently not a Chapter in Cincinnati. There are, however, Chapters in Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta and Charlotte. 

With over 3,000 members and 21 Chapters, The Private Directors Association represents a diverse and highly experienced community of executive leaders, including current and qualified future board members, private company owners, C-level executives of family-owned businesses, ESOPs, private equity-backed companies, and early-stage ventures. This not-for-profit, member-based, organization was formed in 2014 in Chicago. Website: www.privatedirectors.org 

The PDA mission is to:

• Advocate for and teach board formation and governance.
• Enhance private company value through high-performing boards.
• Advocate for the value of diverse and inclusive boards.
• Create a national alliance of directors, executives, and private company owners interested in board service to learn, network, and identify and attract exceptional board members

The focus of the organization is to:

• Provide an education platform for executives, CEOs, and private company board members.
• Serve as a networking platform for owners, executives, current, and qualified aspiring board members.
• Provide a conduit to Board opportunities that private companies can post to the members.

We intend to educate the group on the organization, what establishing a Chapter entails, and the benefits.
