Guy C. Mingo President and CEO Marsden Services

Guy Mingo is the President and CEO of Marsden Holding, L.L.C., one of the largest privately held building maintenance and security firms in the United States. Guy began his career at Marsden in 1978 when he was hired by the company’s founder, Skip Marsden. Guy became the CEO in 2002 and under his leadership, Marsden has grown from a local Midwest operation to a $500M enterprise with 10,000 employees across the country. In addition to directing the strategy that has led to exponential financial and geographic growth, Guy has also overseen more than 40 acquisition integrations and launched a joint venture company.

Guy’s long tenure and expertise make him a leading voice in the building service contractors’ industry. In 2011, Guy was elected to the Twin Cities Business Hall of Fame. In 2020, Guy was awarded the Walter L. Cook Award for Distinguished Service by the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI). This award is given to a BSCAI member who has made outstanding contributions to the industry and furthered the programs and image of building service contractors. And in 2021, Guy was recognized as one of the most admired CEOs of the year by the St. Paul/Minneapolis Business Journal. Guy is a Certified Building Services Executive and his commitment to the industry also includes his active involvement in the formation of the Cleaning Coalition of America (CCA).

Beth LaBreche Member, Board of Directors Quartus Engineering

Beth is an accomplished global Fortune 500 leader and entrepreneur who founded, built, and sold her award-winning marketing and communications company in 2013. She currently advises boards, executives, investors, and business owners on transformation during pivotal times and crises, including changes in business strategy and leadership, M&A, legal situations, cultural challenges, product liabilities, cyber and social media vulnerabilities, and more. She currently serves on the board of directors at Quartus Engineering, a San Diego-based engineering company that develops complex systems and structures for space, aviation, medical, and other industries. In 2024, Beth is looking for an additional opportunity to serve on a private company board that needs skills in brand and reputation to successfully managing change and risk during growth or transformation.

Anne deBruin Sample is an experienced business and HR leader, and the CEO and owner of Navigate Forward. Anne has an enviable track record of leading business-building transformation and developing top talent. Anne has engaged her passion for helping leaders find new destinations during times of transition. As both a Corporate client and an individual client of Navigate Forward, she is a strong believer in the power and impact of transition coaching and leadership development.

In her early career Anne worked in a variety of HR and strategy roles for Whirlpool, PepsiCo, Walker Digital and Citibank. She has served as the Chief HR Officer for PepsiAmericas, SVP of Management and People Solutions at Thrivent Financial, and the Chief of People at Caribou Coffee and Bagels. Anne is a natural connector who is recognized for her ability to reframe problems, identify new solutions, manage through change and share her candid perspective. An engaging speaker, Anne is often asked to present at conferences, universities and professional events. She currently serves on Board of Directors of MyMeds, a MN-based startup that provides individuals with the digital health tools and real time data.
