AI In the Boardroom – What Independent Directors Should Know

Overview

AI has been around for a long time but Gen AI has supercharged adoption across companies in all sectors. Both Boards and company leaders are increasingly being pressured to articulate an AI strategy and to avoid loss of competitiveness as the business world forges ahead with adoption. How should Private and Family Owned Company Boards be thinking about this new capability that is being spoken about as the next revolution after the Internet? What risks and opportunities does it present? What impact will it have on workforce planning? How should boards safeguard against non-financial risks such as cyber risks enabled by AI? Please join us in a stimulating discussion on the topic by a panel of highly experienced and engaged speakers who will unpack the corporate governance issues associated with this technology and its many capabilities and challenges.
